In September 2010 I took a little camping vacation with my buddy Adam. Since I live in Chicago and he lives in Nashville (8 hours apart), we decided to meet in between. The place we ended up camping was a little less "away from it all" than we had hoped, but we still had a great time. It's nice to get out of the hustle of the city and clear your head. Too bad there was a guy in a campsite 50 yards away blasting really bad cheesy music out of his truck the whole weekend. Somehow though I was able to get enough space to play some guitar, which is when I wrote the music and melody to this song. When I came home after the weekend, the words just poured out and the song was complete. I think I was able to find somewhat of a new perspective on a lot of things in my life after that point. Here it is - life is just a riddle. Have fun, folks.
